Purple Gradient Acrylic Cosmetic Display with Circular Shelves

This cosmetic display combines transparent acrylic shelves and upright panels with a round foam PVC base. The acrylic parts are laser-cut, polished along their cut faces and given a purple gradient through dyeing. The completed displays also use screen-printed line graphics and a printed finish on the base.

Circular shelves and curved upright panels fit into one another through slots. The lower ends of the upright panels enter CNC-machined grooves in the round foam PVC base. Printed graphics are applied to PET, cut to shape and attached to the base surface.

The main photograph shows cosmetic products held within the circular shelf structure. Purple gradients and screen-printed lines are visible on the upright panels, while the transparent shelves reveal the products and connections.

Completed shelves and round bases

This photograph shows multiple finished units with the acrylic shelves and upright panels fitted into their round foam PVC bases. It records the overall structure from the shelf levels down to the base, with products placed within each display.

How the clear shelves fit into the upright panels

The circular shelves and vertical support panels are cut separately from transparent acrylic using a laser. Slots in the parts allow them to fit together into several display levels. In this clear version, the shelf connections and the points where the panels meet are visible around the products.

Purple gradient dyeing before fitting the base

After the cut faces are polished, the transparent acrylic is dyed with a purple gradient. This photograph shows the coloured shelves and upright panels fitted together without the foam PVC base. The acrylic remains transparent, with colour visible across the panels and cut faces. The screen-printed line pattern used on the finished displays is shown in the main photograph.

The exposed cut faces of the laser-cut acrylic are polished before colour is applied. These circular, semicircular and rectangular samples show several dyed colours while retaining their transparency. Their cut faces and coloured panels can be viewed together in the photograph.
