LED Direction Signs on a Urethane-Painted Acrylic Post

Clear acrylic tubing and circular base parts are finished with urethane paint to resemble a metal post. LED direction signs attach at different heights for indoor wayfinding.

This indoor LED direction signpost uses clear acrylic tubing with a urethane-painted finish. Sign panels attach at different heights, and a circular acrylic support connects to the foot of the post. The painted acrylic post and projecting mounting details create the appearance of a metal structure.

The main collage places the illuminated sign faces beside the rear view of the post. Rectangular panels are arranged at different heights so their information can be read separately. The rear view shows the projecting mounting details and the cylindrical post beneath the dark finish.

The rear photograph shows three sign-mounting sections positioned along the acrylic tube. Urethane paint covers the tube and projecting bolt-shaped details, giving them the appearance of metal pipework and fittings. From this rear angle, the projecting mounting details and the painted post surface are visible.

Clear tubing and circular base components

The workbench photograph shows clear acrylic tubing, circular support plates and connecting parts before painting. These components form the vertical post and its lower support. Their transparent appearance shows the underlying acrylic material used to produce the finished dark surface.

A circular acrylic plate and tube connection join beneath the post to form its standing base. The lower parts receive the same urethane finish as the post, giving the components a consistent appearance. The photograph shows the circular base after painting in the workshop.
