Astel Acrylic LED Lightbox with Cut Vinyl Graphics

CNC-cut Astel acrylic panels form this tall rectangular lightbox. LEDs inside illuminate the front and sides, while black cut vinyl graphics are attached to the outside of the front face.

The main display uses lighting-grade Astel acrylic cut to the shapes of the front, sides and top. The panels were joined into a vertical rectangular box with white illuminated faces. Black cut vinyl lettering and a thin border sit on the front surface. This format brings store information and graphics onto an illuminated display. The width-to-height ratio, box shape, illuminated faces and extent of the graphics can be discussed to suit the installation space.

This example uses a rectangular wooden frame around light-diffusing Astel acrylic panels. The front panel carries colour graphics applied by UV printing. The wooden outer structure frames the illuminated front and side panels, giving this display a different construction from the all-acrylic box in the main photograph.

Printed graphics on a shallow lightbox

This rectangular box has a lower profile and a broader display face than the tall main example. A colour graphic print is attached to the lighting acrylic face. LEDs inside illuminate the panel and its artwork. The photograph shows the box lying flat on a workbench, with the broad graphic surface visible from above.

Rounded acrylic cubes in a vertical display

Astel acrylic was formed into cubes with rounded corners for this example. Each cube contains LEDs, and the separate boxes are placed one above another. The photograph shows pale green and turquoise illuminated faces. The emphasis here is on the curved outlines and illuminated volumes, with no front lettering shown.
