This square display block is made from 50 mm clear acrylic. Milling and lathe work form the machined features, and the cut faces receive a polished finish. The finished block supports a cylindrical product container for a raised presentation on a retail counter, showroom surface or exhibition display.

Milling, Lathe Work and Polished Acrylic Cut Faces

The main photograph shows a cylindrical jar on the clear square block. The thick acrylic provides the raised display form, while its polished cut faces remain transparent. The fabrication combines the square outer shape with a circular machined area. A different use of thick clear acrylic appears in the acrylic ice-pop promotional display.

The Acrylic Block Held for Lathe Work

In the first detail photograph, the square acrylic block is secured in front of the lathe chuck. A black fixture and bolts hold the block around its outside, leaving the circular machining area visible on the face. The photograph records the position of the workpiece and fixture during fabrication.

Circular Recess and Polished Cut Faces

The next photograph shows the block after removal from the fixture, resting on a workshop support. A circular recess is visible in the top surface, together with the straight square outline and transparent polished cut faces. This view shows the machined shape before a product covers the top of the block.
