Polycarbonate Cube Lightboxes with Red Film and Foam PVC Bases

CNC-cut light-diffusing polycarbonate boxes use internal LEDs and red lighting film. Black foam PVC bases extend the cube design into individual product displays.

Light-diffusing polycarbonate boxes with red lighting film and internal LEDs are used alongside foam PVC product display bases.

These cube lightboxes are made from CNC-cut light-diffusing polycarbonate, or PC. Red lighting film is applied to the outside of the red versions, with LEDs positioned inside as the light source. Foam PVC lower bases are finished with black interior film and cut lettering to form individual product displays within the shop installation.

CNC-Cut Polycarbonate Lightboxes and Foam PVC Bases

The main photograph shows cube forms arranged across a shop wall and overhead, with separate illuminated product stands in front. The polycarbonate faces and lower mounting parts are CNC cut and joined into box forms. The red lighting film gives the red boxes their color. For the individual stands, black film-covered foam PVC bases support the upper lightboxes, with cut lettering applied as part of the installation finish. The light-diffusing polycarbonate lightbox shows the basic box construction. Another combination of foam PVC and lighting appears in the illuminated foam PVC display.

The first detail photograph shows an individual product stand in the workshop. A white illuminated polycarbonate box sits above the tall black foam PVC base. The image shows the relationship between the upper lightbox and lower pedestal before products are placed on it. The red film and lettering visible in the shop installation are not present on this photographed face.

Mounting Rim Inside the Lightbox

The next photograph shows the polycarbonate box turned over to reveal its open underside. A rim follows the lower perimeter so the lightbox can fit onto the foam PVC base. The CNC-cut faces and the internal rim can be seen together. LED components are laid nearby for use as the internal light source; they are shown outside the box in this view.
